1. Who we are
Drive Finder Ireland (the “Service”) is a concierge matchmaking service operated by Uniq Labs Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore (“we”, “us”). We help learner drivers in the Republic of Ireland find Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) registered with the Road Safety Authority (RSA).
2. What we deliver
For the initial fee of EUR 19 (the “Standard Fee”), we will contact ADIs in your chosen county and endeavour to match you with 2 to 3 verified, available instructors within 7 days of your request.
“Delivery” means we send you at least 2 instructor contact details (name, phone number, email where available, and ADI number) via WhatsApp, with confirmation that we have personally verified their availability.
3. Extended search
If the initial round of instructors are unavailable, we will inform you and offer an extended search for an additional EUR 10 (the “Extended Fee”). The extended search covers either:
- Additional ADIs within the same county and surrounding counties; or
- ADIs further afield if you are willing to travel.
The extended search is optional. You are under no obligation to proceed. If you choose not to, no further charges apply.
4. How payment works
Payment is collected by secure card payment via Stripe. You are only asked to pay after we have confirmed available instructor matches for you. No payment is taken at the time of submitting your request.
If we are unable to find any matches within 7 days, you will not be charged.
5. Non-refundable once delivered
Once we have delivered matches per Section 2, the Fee is considered earned and is
non-refundable. This includes cases where:
- You change your mind or decide not to proceed with lessons;
- You are unable to reach an instructor after we provide their contact details;
- An instructor becomes unavailable after we verify them;
- You do not pass your driving test.
If you believe we have materially failed to deliver as promised, contact us within 7 days of receiving your matches and we will review your case individually.
6. No guarantee of lesson outcomes
We are a matchmaking service. We do not teach, schedule, or conduct driving lessons ourselves. All lessons are conducted directly between the learner and the ADI. We make no representation or warranty about instructor teaching quality, lesson availability, test pass rates, or any other outcome once we have completed the match. Instructor data is sourced from the publicly available RSA ADI register.
7. Instructor relationship
ADIs matched through our service are independent professionals licensed by the Road Safety Authority. They are not our employees, agents, or contractors. We do not receive commissions or referral fees from instructors. Any dispute regarding lessons, lesson fees paid to the instructor, or instructor conduct should be raised directly with the instructor and, if necessary, with the RSA.
8. Your obligations
You agree to provide accurate information in your request. You agree not to use our service to harass instructors or submit fraudulent requests. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the total fees you have paid us. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
10. Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory consumer rights you have under Irish law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Ireland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you where you reside.
